On behalf of The Home Office, we are looking for a FinOps Digital Delivery Manager (Inside IR35) for a 12 Month contract based Hybrid in Manchester.

As a FinOps Delivery Manager your main responsibilities will be to:
* Establish a centralised FinOps capability and consider the adoption of cross-platform cost optimisation tooling that is vendor-neutral.
* Address the overall problem of lack of visibility and predictability of cloud costs.
* Promote the adoption of FinOps objectives, techniques, and mindset while embedding FinOps as a culture within the Home Office.
* Manage cross-portfolio change initiatives, particularly where there is no direct management authority over colleagues.
* Provide a roadmap for FinOps development to achieve effective long-term continuous improvement against benchmarked FinOps Foundation standards.
* Build a robust Hub & Spoke model FinOps capability with growing and ongoing internal ownership.
* Roll out changes in ways of working and tooling across portfolios, following the completion of standardised FinOps Maturity Assessments.
* Create a new FinOps capability/community within the department.
* Build out BAU capability and oversee the handover process.

Essential:
* SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role as a minimum, you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks.
* Proven experience in cross-portfolio change management.
* Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders across portfolios.
* Financial/Operations management awareness (direct FinOps awareness is desirable).
* Using experience of technology delivery and technical practices to help translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Using previous experience, expertise and current metrics to identify, understand, and improve team delivery performance.
* Experience with delivering change initiatives in complex environments.
* Proficiency in recognised delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Lean Kanban, SAFe, Prince 2).
* Managing budgets and commercial supplier relationships.
* Acting as the Delivery Manager for one or more delivery teams throughout the delivery lifecycle (prepare, deliver, improve).
