MMBC is a region of Mott MacDonald group that brings together the design capability of Mott MacDonald and the construction expertise of JN Bentley to deliver award winning projects in the water, environment, energy, and industrial sectors. Across MM and JNB we have over 2,600 employees working together across the UK.
Our placements last for 12 months, working across both design and construction teams, to offer the broadest exposure to the industry, working on real-world projects that make a difference in communities. It’s a great chance to get involved with live projects while gaining experience relevant to your degree.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with experienced mechanical engineers both on-site and in the office, gaining practical experience in mechanical systems and project implementation.
- Engage in a variety of water projects, from design and planning to installation and maintenance, ensuring systems operate efficiently and effectively.
- Enhance your skills in mechanical design, system analysis, and problem-solving, preparing you for a successful career in mechanical engineering.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment on all projects.
What we’re looking for:
- You must be studying a full-time undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
