An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data & Insight Analyst to become a pivotal member of our Audience Operations team within the HBM Marketing department.
 
As a key contributor reporting into the Head of Audience Data & Insights, you'll be working closely with our paid content and live event Marketing teams. Your role is to decipher intricate data sets, providing actionable insights that shape and drive our business strategies.
 
In this influential position, you will play a crucial role in instilling a data-driven culture throughout the organisation. With a deep understanding of our diverse audience across 20+brands, you will ensure every decision is grounded in data-driven insights.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong commercial background, ideally within a B2B media environment. Your eagerness to delve into multiple data sources and product streams will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities, across both commercial and operations.
Your primary objective is to understand and visualise our audience behaviours, preferences, and trends across various platforms and products, contributing significantly to our strategic decision-making process.

Responsibilities

 
Key responsibilities 


  • Create and develop automated dashboards/reports to track key financial and performance metrics to drive business decision-making
  • Analyse known audience data to inform and optimise business strategies including revenue growth, acquisition costs, ROI and conversion rates
  • Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing across multiple product streams to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities 
  • Support the implementation and development of Amperity, our 3rd party Customer Data Platform (CDP), to support marketing strategies
  • Support marketing, and the wider business, to leverage all available data to promote and embed a data-driven approach
  • Focus on key products/markets, including live events and paid content, to become the domain expert for all related analysis

Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria
 
  • Demonstrated expertise with a minimum of 5 years experience using SQL/BigQuery or Python to query, analyse and manipulate data
  • Experience of analysing large, complex and disparate datasets/databases to identify, extract and present actionable insights
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilising advanced Data Visualisation techniques and tools, including Looker, PowerBI and Qlik
  • Hands-on experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), including Amperity, BlueVenn, Unity, Treasure or similar to support in-depth analysis and multi-channel campaign activities
  • Proven track record of working within a media environment with a particular emphasis on paid content models, encompassing skills in attribution, retention/churn and customer lifetime value (LTV)
