Our client HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is an agency of the Ministry of Justice. HMCTS provides administrative support for the legal system across England and Wales, ensuring justice works for everyone.

From some of the most vulnerable people in our society, to families in crisis, claimants and commercial businesses - HMCTS has a responsibility to administer a justice system that is accessible to everyone and operates efficiently.


Our public sector client based in Birmingham City Centre is looking for Admin Officers to join their team. This is initially a temporary role until March 2025, but this is very likely to be extended. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week. Usual working hours are 9am - 5pm but this will be down to business need. The pay rate for this role is £11.88ph, paid on a weekly basis.

Due to the nature of the work, this will be fully office based. The office is located on Hill Street.

As an admin officer your role will be to support with administrative tasks that come along side the courts and tribunals. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Collating court files and papers
- Producing documents and correspondence
- Updating the inhouse databases
- Preparing files for court
- Communications with internal and external stakeholders, via emails, letters, telephone etc
- Ad hoc tasks, photocopying, filing, scanning etc

The ideal candidate for this role will have 12 - 18 months of admin experience.
