Fostering Social Worker Role in Dudley

Job Responsibilities:
* Supervision and Support: Provide regular supervision and support to Dudley's foster carers, ensuring they meet the National Minimum Standards and BAAF guidelines.
* Recruitment and Assessment: Participate in the recruitment of new foster carers and assess applicant carers to ensure suitability.
* Liaison and Coordination: Act as duty officer, liaising with district social workers for initial viability assessments.
* Legal and Panel Attendance: Stay updated with legal requirements, attend Fostering Panel and Court as necessary.
* Performance and Development: Engage in performance reviews, training, and skill development to maintain professional standards.
* Promotion of Equality and Safety: Promote equality, diversity, and community cohesion, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
Essential Requirements:
* Qualifications: Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
* Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a social worker within children's services.
* Registration: Social Work England Registration.
* Driving: Valid driving license and access to own vehicle.
