Location: Aldergrove 0800-1630 Mon-Fri

Job background.

The job holder will supervise the station fuels, lubricants, and associated products section, ensuring the safe and efficient use of the facility, whilst adhering to all current rules, regulations and legislation and maintaining adequate fuel stock levels to meet operational and non-operational demands. The job holder is required to obtain a competency certificate and will be the Pollution Control Officer for the Station.

1. Supervise SZ2 Storekeepers FLAP by spending most of the time working with the team; additionally; as the focal point for the team.

As a Storekeeper fuel and Lubricants supervisor, your main responsibilities will be:

  • ensures compliance with Health and Safety instructions.
  • To restrict/control access of unauthorised personnel to storage areas (including access to keys), ensuring all visitors sign in and out as required.
  • demonstrating ways of work and explaining procedures
  • checking that all necessary materials, tools and equipment are available.
  • assigning tasks to be done by individual members and/or passing on instructions from the Line Manager.

Essential:

  • Fuel distribution experience
  • Warehouse supervisory experience
  • General management skills
  • Store keeping experience.
