The Ministry of Justice - Admin Officer
Location: Bradford Phoenix House (office working)
Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 5:00 (37 hours)
Pay: £11.59ph then rises to £11.88Ph after 12 weeks in the role.

This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements.

Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a full time Administration Officer to join the Team at the Direct Lodgement Centre with our client, The Ministry of Justice based in Bradford. The role will include working as part of a flexible team in a back-office environment and will be responsible for assisting in the administration process for Social Security appeals to be heard at a Tribunal within the listings team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and distributing information and communications in an appropriate manner e.g telephone, paper, e-mail
  • Preparing, maintaining and collating records, files & management information in accordance with the standards required
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals
  • General office/administration duties required
  • Communicating with stakeholders
  • Undertaking a variety or complex administration tasks utilising appeals data base
  • Raising and responding to judicial queries
  • Listing appeals into the correct Tribunal hearings
  • Progressing administrative actions post tribunal hearing
  • Utilising decision making for case manage appeals from registration through to the case being taken to a hearing
