Job Description

Resourcing Group is currently seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join a leading facilities management client in Coventry for a minimum 3-month contract. This position offers competitive pay starting at £13.87 per hour.

Position: Fire Watcher

Location: Coventry

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify any fire hazards or potential risks.
Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect signs of fire or unauthorised access.
Maintain accurate records of all observations and incidents during your shift.
Follow established protocols and procedures for fire prevention and emergency response.
Report any safety concerns or issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents, taking necessary actions to mitigate risks.
Provide assistance to firefighters and emergency personnel as needed.
Experience:

Previous experience in loss prevention, surveillance, or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and alarm monitoring is a plus.
Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols is beneficial.
Skills:

Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Physical stamina and ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
Basic understanding of fire safety regulations and procedures.
