Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Social worker to join Child in Care team for Staffordshire County Council.
Location: Stafford, Staffordshire
Team: Stafford Children in Care and Care Leavers Team 1
Team Size: 6 social workers, 1 PA to social worker, 1 team manager
Hybrid Working: Office-based 2 days a week, including a duty day, in a modern, open-plan office with co-located district teams.
Parking: Free parking available in a nearby multi-storey.
Key Responsibilities: during your time with us you will be supporting young people between the ages of 0 - 18years for whom the court has granted a care order for or they are supported under section 20. The role of the team is to support families to make the changes they need to be able to care safely for their children again without intervention or to support young people to successful transition to independence building their support networks around them .
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification (Degree or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years experience in childrens services
* Social Work England Registration
* Valid driving license and access to own vehicle
