Testing Engineer

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and implement battery test plans to evaluate performance metrics such as capacity, power capability, cycle life, and efficiency under various environmental and load conditions. Develop and execute test procedures for battery systems and components, including electrical, thermal, and mechanical tests. Analyze test data, prepare detailed reports summarizing findings, and make recommendations for improvements or corrective actions. Collaborate with the R&D team to refine battery designs based on test results and to ensure that products meet industry standards and customer expectations. Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and ensure that all testing procedures comply with safety regulations and quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to battery performance, durability, and safety. Stay abreast of advancements in battery technology and testing methodologies to continuously improve testing practices and procedures. Support the production team by providing technical expertise and assistance in resolving battery-related issues during the manufacturing process.

YOUR PROFILE: Experiences in Lithium ion battery performance and safety testing Understand the test condition, setup, and impact on the test results Capable of interpret and analyze the data, in order to conclude the outcome. Hands-on experience with testing equipment and software for battery analysis. Strong coordination and communication capability to handle complex and detail test plans and results Experiences in UN, IEC, UL international testing standards for Li-ion batteries Skillfully trained on battery testing method and data interpretation Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions Strong attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high-quality outcomes.
