Job Title: Qualified Social Worker (Adult Services)

Salary: £33 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments of adults in need of support, including those with complex needs, disabilities, mental health issues, and older adults.
• Developing care plans in collaboration with service users, their families, and relevant stakeholders to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
• Providing support, guidance, and advocacy to individuals to access appropriate services and resources.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements and departmental policies.
• Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community partners to ensure holistic and coordinated care delivery.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA, MA, DipSW).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in adult social work, preferably within a statutory setting.
• Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult social care.
• Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in service delivery.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
