Associate Architect - London - Salary: £60k - £65k

Our client is an award-winning London-based multidisciplinary practice providing master planning, architecture, interior and landscape design services. Following large-scale commissions, including mixed-use and resort masterplans, and residential and commercial developments, they are looking for an experienced and ambitious Associate Architect to help lead the expanding teams.

Your work will cover a multitude of project types, scales and stages, locations and offer you the opportunity to participate in a growing practice. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of architectural projects , driving design excellence at all stages, from concept to construction administration.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and project leadership, contributing to exceptional design, technical prowess, and financial success.
  • Manage and coordinate talented project teams, fostering seamless communication and a spirit of collaboration.
  • Shape compliance plans with precision, aligning project goals with budgets, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Cultivate accurate project budgets and schedules, diligently monitoring progress for timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
  • Engage with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders, exceeding project requirements and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, gathering project requirements and providing transparent progress updates.
  • Uphold stringent adherence to relevant codes, standards, and regulations, elevating the quality of every architectural endeavour.
  • Meticulously maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Expertly manage multiple projects concurrently, skilfully navigating competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Guide and mentor team members, empowering them to thrive and excel in their roles.

Requirements:

  • Showcase a minimum of 5 years of professional architecture experience, including a minimum of 2 years in project management or team leadership roles.
  • Exhibit your outstanding creative design capabilities through an impressive portfolio.
  • Possess excellent graphic, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Lead by example, inspiring and motivating your team, while defining clear expectations and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all stages of design and construction administration.
  • Collaborate effectively, fostering a collaborative and supportive design environment.
  • Flourish in a dynamic and energetic setting, delivering excellence in every project.
  • Proficiently use 2D and 3D software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, 3ds Max, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, with a talent for effective communication.
