On behalf of Deutsche Bank and DWS Group (DWS), we are looking for a Real Estate Portfolio Manager for an initial 6 month contract based on a hybrid working model of 3 days per week from the office in London, and the rest of the week working from home, on a PAYE day rate engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Analysing investment opportunities through market research, in depth financial analysis, and complex financial modelling
  • Writing reports, memoranda, and presentations, presenting findings at transaction review and investment committee meetings as well as board meetings of the investment vehicles
  • Supporting transactions including investment underwriting, due diligence processes, structuring, financing, and closing across multiple jurisdictions
  • Assisting on asset management tasks, including creating and implementing business plans, refinancing, exit strategies, and reporting
  • Support ongoing portfolio management activities including oversight of regulatory requirements and investor reporting
  • Reviewing and validating real estate valuations
  • Preparing or reviewing quarterly and annual Fund reporting for investors including Fund NAV and Fund returns

Skills and Qualifications

  • Sound Commercial Real Estate experience in either Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Private Equity, Transaction Advisory or Portfolio Management
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills and attention to detail - you will be required to communicate effectively and confidently with senior management and third parties
  • Good understanding of accounting and experience in financial analysis and modelling with advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Ability to work in teams, under pressure, within tight deadlines, and with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Educated to Bachelor's degree level within a related financial subject or with relevant professional experience
  • Confident addressing Real Estate, legal, tax, accounting and financial issues.
  • Experienced working with internal and external stakeholders and advisors.
  • Confident in working and addressing unstructured and new situations and taking on new challenges.
