Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Mental Health Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment, making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable individuals in Coventry.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional social work support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges within the community.
Conduct assessments to determine the needs and risks of service users, developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other professionals and agencies.
Deliver high-quality, person-centered interventions and support to promote recovery, independence, and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals, housing agencies, and voluntary organizations, to ensure integrated and holistic care.
Advocate for the rights and interests of service users, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements and departmental policies.
Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England.
Experience working within a mental health setting, ideally within a statutory social work role.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures relating to mental health and social care.
Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, managing a complex caseload effectively and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to professional standards and ethical principles.
