Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Social Worker needed for a Community Mental Health Centre in South East London to start as soon as possible please.

Based a stones throw from the bustling High Street, with excellent public transport links and accessible parking, this position offers hybrid working and the opportunity to engage with our diverse and vibrant local community.

The successful candidate will have:

- experience of adult mental health casework in a community mental health setting
- strong assessment and engagement skills
- knowledge of clinical and social issues and the management of risk in relation to mental health service-users
- experience of working within the statutory framework of the CA 2014, MHA 1983 and MCA 2005.
- the ability to manage a caseload in an integrated multi-disciplinary service undertaking longer-term casework and care coordination.
- experience of carrying out a range of assessments and interventions including adult safeguarding.
