Battery NPI Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer with a focus on batteries to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the successful launch of new battery products from concept to mass production. This position requires a deep understanding of battery technologies, manufacturing processes, and a proven track record in driving efficient and effective product introductions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical aspects of new battery product introductions, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
• Evaluate and optimize battery designs for manufacturability, reliability, and performance during the NPI phase.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for the assembly, testing, and quality control of new battery products.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure seamless integration of new products into production lines.
• Generate regular reports/documentation on NPI progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in NPI roles within the battery industry.
• Strong knowledge of battery technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to battery products.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
