Clerk of Works / Quality Assurance Inspector

*£325 per day umbrella*

The role:

• Provide a Quality Assurance/Clerk of Work service across the full range of work undertaken by the Housing association.
• Damp and Mould Project
• Agree joint quality control procedures with the constructor/contractor in accordance with requirements and audit such procedures and records to ensure that quality control inspections are effective and efficient.
• Examine specifications and drawings and ensure that any aspects which are not satisfactory are rectified.
• Carry out site visits at least weekly, to all sites to ensure that materials, construction standards and site practices meet Sutton Housing Partnerships requirements, and prepare a Health and Safety report.

Key Skills and experience:

• Worked as a Clear of works or surveyor for 4+ years
• 4+ years of working for a registered housing provider.
• 4+ years experience of housing refurbishment/maintenance.
• 4+ years experience of housing refurbishment/maintenance management of contractors
• 4+ years experience of housing refurbishment/maintenance.drafting site inspections via iSurvey app.
• A full current driving license and your own vehicle are required, as well as a reasonable level of physical fitness to climb
