Software Commissioning Engineer

The company specialises in automated warehouse solutions and is a global company who designs, installs and maintains the automation machinery on behalf of their clients.

As a Software Commissioning Engineer you will be a part of an international team of engineers supporting clients with their automated solutions.

Responsibilities:

• You model, parameterize and configure our software according to individual customer requirements
• You ensure software quality by testing the software with our simulators
• The commissioning of the software in cooperation with all different technology specialists is an important part of your job profile
• You will also ensure quality through on-site integration tests and support our customers with functional tests and training before the start-up phase
• The implementation of adaptations of our software according to the customer's needs is also your important task
• After commissioning, you will prepare the project and hand it over to downstream departments for further processing

Requirements:

• You have completed an apprenticeship in the field of IT
• You have basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (C++, C# and/or Java)
• In addition, you also have basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL or Oracle) and Linux
• You like to travel internationally (on average about 50% per year)
• You speak good English
• You are open to new things, stress-resistant and customer-oriented
