Join Our Team: Band 6 Social Worker Opportunities

1. Band 6 Social Worker - Early Interventions Team
Location: Crossgate House, Trafford
Pay Rate: £26 per hour (depending on experience)
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 35.5 hours per week

Are you passionate about early interventions and supporting individuals facing mental health challenges? The Greater Manchester NHS Foundation Trust seeks a motivated Band 6 Social Worker to join our dedicated Early Interventions Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with young children and adults (age 14-34)
Conducting assessments and developing care plans
Providing community-based support
Experience with mental health assessments
Working with individuals with early onset psychosis and their families
Requirements:

Registered Social Worker with the correct registration body
Previous experience in community-based roles
Strong assessment skills
Experience working with individuals with early onset psychosis and their families
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

2. Band 6 Social Worker - Multi-Disciplinary Team
Location: Greater Manchester
Pay Rate: Up to £30 per hour (depending on experience)

Are you a skilled and compassionate Social Worker looking to make a difference in mental health care? The Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Band 6 Social Worker to join our Multi-Disciplinary Team.

Key Requirements:

• Understanding of the criminal justice system and skilled in clinical systems and report writing
• Experience in mental health assessment, screening vulnerabilities, inter-agency working, MDT approach, and reflective practice
• Professional qualification registered on the appropriate part of the NMC/HCPC register with current NMC/HCPC registration Assessor/Mentorship Training
• Experience as a mental health, CAMHS, or learning disability practitioner with an understanding of community-based health and social care services delivery
• Experience in multi-disciplinary working
