Are you a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Practitioner with expertise in safeguarding adults? Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Safeguarding Adults Team!
Position: Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner
Location: Greater Manchester
Pay Rate: Up to £26 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your safeguarding adult expertise to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults.
- Conduct triage and thorough review of safeguarding referrals.
- Develop and implement protection plans to safeguard individuals at risk.
- Lead safeguarding enquiries, including Section 42 enquiries, with confidence and proficiency.
- Provide advice, support, and guidance to Manchester mental health community teams on safeguarding matters.
Ability to travel and work on-site at Manchester CMHT's as required.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of legislation, particularly the Care Act.
