Design Engineer – St Fergus (Onsite) - £49,310 - 62,399
As a Design Engineer within the National Gas St Fergus Team, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the technical aspects of a project. Working within a dedicated design team, your main focus will be to support the design and delivery of various Projects by providing clear guidance and expert advice from your knowledge and experience of either Electrical, Control and Instrumentation or mechanical Systems.
You will use industry and company technical standards and procedures to provide clear instruction and guidance to framework contractors in order to achieve stakeholder acceptance. You'll engage effectively with key stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of projects whilst maintaining safety, quality and environmental practises are embedded in the design process.
Fundamental to the Design Engineer role is taking accountability for key activities such as co-ordinating formal process safety and environmental assessments, undertaking managing design reviews and approvals and providing technical support to key stakeholders.
You'll come from an engineering background with relevant experience and hold a minimum of HNC level qualification (or equivalent) in a related engineering discipline.
