Qualified Adults Social Worker | Locality Safeguarding Team | Barnsley

  • Qualified Adults Social Worker / Social Work Professional required to join a Locality Safeguarding team
  • Highly respected team in a Local Authority where everybody wants to work!
  • Hybrid working
  • Office base: Barnsley
  • You must have a social work qualification and full SWE registration as well as relevant experience to be considered
  • Pay rate £35ph

To be considered, it is essential that you have a recognised Social Work qualification (Social Work Degree or Diploma in Social Work) and full Social Work England registration as well as recent or significant relevant experience in a similar role.

Supporting individuals and their families through difficult times and ensuring that vulnerable people are safeguarded from harm. Our role is to help improve outcomes in people's lives. They maintain professional relationships and act as guides and advocates. Once safeguarding concerns are screened they are forwarded to the locality safeguarding team for s42 to be completed. You will need to be experienced in working with Making Safeguarding Personal and completing s42 enquiries.
