Job Description
Quantity Surveyor required by one of the countries largest housing maintenance contractors. This role provides a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to shape and develop the role as it is a newly created position.
Historically the commercial elements have been picked up by senior management but as the company continues to grow and expand the requirement for a Quantity surveyor is strategically important.
Reporting directly into the MD you will oversee the financial and commercial relationship between the contractor and its suppliers, and the inter company financial management, to ensure delivery of an excellent service for customers, whilst ensuring that financial planning, cost control and, value for money are always held paramount.
Furthermore, to work as part of the team in developing the organisation, providing commercial and estimating support in relation to tenders submitted for ongoing and future opportunities
The package on offer is £45k to £52k per annum, 38 days holiday, EV scheme and highly competitive pension scheme.
