Personal Tax Manager - Top 50 firm
Central London (Hybrid working)
£55,000 to £70,000

Butler Rose, public practice are delighted to be supporting our client, a distinguished and well established Top 50 mid-tier accounting firm based from ultra modern offices just off bustling Oxford Street, that are keen to appoint an experienced and qualified Personal Tax Manager.

Based at the firm's London West End offices and belonging to a tax department which consists of Personal, Corporation, Indirect and Investigations, you will be responsible for your own diverse client portfolio. Managing both complex compliance and ad hoc advisory work, you will have substantial OMB and private client experience, and be a confident communicator with all stakeholders, building and maintaining strong working relationships.

Role Requirements -
Lead a small team and review team members' work.
Manage the department's compliance process.
Undertake technical research and assist on consultancy projects.
Manage Tax Return information, both internally and for clients.
Prepare and generate Tax Returns and associated tax computations.
Liaise with HMRC on clients' behalf, including dealing with Tax Return enquiries.
Monitor WIP and raise bills.
Identify tax planning opportunities for your clients and within the department.
Undertake technical research.
Review team members' work.

Person Requirements -
Ideally 5+ years' experience in personal tax at a supervisor/Manager level and CTA qualified with at least 1 year's post qualification experience.
Exposure to both compliance and advisory tax work and supporting a team of tax preparers.
Proficient in the use of various accounting software applications and ideally CCH personal tax.
