Our client is a pioneer in modular building solutions, is seeking a skilled Electrician with experience in modular construction to join our team in Purfleet. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative modular projects and requires a minimum of 17th Edition Wiring Regulations certification and a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Electrical Installations: Perform electrical installations in modular buildings, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  2. Modular Builds: Apply your experience and expertise in modular construction techniques to efficiently install electrical systems within the modular building framework, optimising space and functionality.

  3. Testing and Inspection: Conduct testing, inspection, and certification of electrical installations, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards, as well as compliance with regulations.

  4. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and rectify electrical faults and issues in modular buildings, using your problem-solving skills and technical knowledge to ensure systems operate effectively and safely.

  5. Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times, ensuring that electrical work is carried out safely and that appropriate precautions are taken to protect personnel and property.

  6. Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, site managers, and other stakeholders regarding electrical installations and maintenance works, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns or queries in a professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 17th Edition Wiring Regulations certification is essential.

  • Previous experience in modular construction is preferred.

  • Valid driving licence is required for this position.

  • Strong practical skills and knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installations.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
