Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Mental Health team in Rotherham. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing support and intervention to individuals facing mental health issues, ensuring their safety, well-being, and access to necessary services.

Responsibilities:

Conducting assessments to determine the needs and risks of individuals with mental health concerns.
Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users, their families, and other professionals.
Providing ongoing support, counseling, and advocacy to promote mental health recovery and independence.
Liaising with relevant agencies and organizations to coordinate services and support networks for service users.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of interventions, assessments, and service user progress.

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker (QSW) with relevant professional registration (HCPC).
Proven experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges, ideally within a social care setting.
Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate with external agencies.
Understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to mental health and social care practice.
