Our client is a leading supplier of modular buildings, is seeking a skilled Plumber with modular experience to join our team in Purfleet. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with innovative modular construction solutions and requires a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Modular Plumbing Installations: Install plumbing systems in modular buildings, including pipework, fixtures, fittings, and appliances, ensuring compliance with building regulations and industry standards.

  2. Plumbing Repairs and Maintenance: Carry out repairs and maintenance on plumbing systems in modular buildings, diagnosing faults, fixing leaks, clearing blockages, and replacing faulty components as needed.

  3. Heating and Hot Water Systems: Install, repair, and maintain heating systems, hot water boilers, radiators, and associated pipework, ensuring efficient operation and occupant comfort.

  4. Sanitary and Drainage Systems: Install and maintain sanitary fittings, drainage systems, and wastewater disposal systems in modular buildings, ensuring proper function and compliance with health and safety regulations.

  5. Emergency Response: Respond to emergency plumbing call-outs, such as burst pipes, leaks, and drainage issues, providing rapid assistance and implementing effective solutions to minimize disruption.

  6. Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times, ensuring that plumbing work is carried out safely and that appropriate precautions are taken to protect personnel and property.

  7. Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, site managers, and other stakeholders regarding plumbing works, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns or queries in a professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Plumber, with specific experience in modular construction preferred.

  • Valid driving licence is essential for this position.

  • Relevant plumbing qualifications and certifications.

  • Strong practical skills and knowledge of plumbing systems and installations.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
