Job Description
Our client is the UK's leading supplier of modular buildings, is seeking a skilled Handyman with modular experience to join our team in Purfleet. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with innovative modular construction solutions and requires a valid driving licence.
Responsibilities:

Modular Repairs: Undertake repairs and maintenance on modular buildings, including structural repairs, carpentry work, plumbing repairs, and electrical maintenance, ensuring buildings are safe, functional, and visually appealing.

Installation Assistance: Assist with the installation and assembly of modular buildings on-site, working alongside installation teams to ensure buildings are erected efficiently and to high standards.

Internal and External Finishes: Carry out finishing works on modular buildings, including painting, decorating, tiling, and flooring installations, to enhance the appearance and functionality of interior and exterior spaces.

General Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks, such as replacing fixtures and fittings, repairing doors and windows, and addressing minor plumbing and electrical issues, to keep buildings in good condition.

Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times, ensuring that work is carried out safely and that appropriate precautions are taken to protect personnel and property.

Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, site managers, and other stakeholders regarding maintenance works, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns or queries in a professional manner.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work completed, materials used, and any relevant documentation, ensuring thorough documentation and reporting.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar handyman role, preferably with experience in modular construction.

Valid driving licence is essential for this position.

Strong practical skills and knowledge of construction and maintenance techniques.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
