Solar Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a construction project manager.

In your role, you will be involved in leading the construction of several of Sweden's largest solar parks. You will be responsible for the implementation as a link between the owner/investor and the turnkey contractor, and are responsible for managing the contact between the investor and the turnkey contractor and between the project and its various stakeholders such as authorities, neighbors and landowners.

You will hold construction meetings with the main contractor and ensure that good health and safety conditions are maintained by the main contractor.

The role also involves participating in the procurement of turnkey contracts, earthworks and reporting the progress of the projects upwards in the organization and directly to the investor and its representatives.

You will run the projects up to and including commissioning and will also ensure that the project can seamlessly move into the management phase.

The insight you will gain into the construction process will also make you an important knowledge link to the development of future projects.

You will report to the Chief Operational Officer.

Travel to the projects may occur regularly, up to 2-3 days per week during intensive phases of the projects.

The position is based in our open and pleasant office in Kungspassagen in Uppsala.


We are looking for a person with:

1. at least 2 years of experience in construction project management
2. lives preferably in Uppsala, Stockholm or Västerås
3. Fluent in English in speech and writing as several of our customers are foreign, subcontractors are foreign.
4. Fluent in Swedish in speech and writing
5. The service involves traveling in the Mälardal region / Örebro and sometimes longer. Site visits 1-2 days per week or as needed in the projects, sometimes overnight stays are required.
6. The position also involves support with operational issues, which means that knowledge of electricity networks and high-voltage installations is highly meritorious
   
   requirements:
   Driving license B,
   Education Bas P/U
   Experience in solar or wind projects.
