Cell Design Engineer

Job Description

-Bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field -Min 3 years experience in the battery industry -Proven experience in lithium-ion battery technology, with a focus on prismatic cell design and development -Proficiency in battery modelling software (e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS, CellMod) and electrochemical characterization techniques (e.g., cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy) -Knowledge of material design and how to achieve faster charging and rate capability

• English skills (at least B2)

Responsibilities:

1. Designing and building prismatic cells
2. Electrode slurry formulations, mixing, and coating
3. Provide engineering analysis for the impact of different components in the prismatic cell on the overall performance of the cell
4. Prepare electrochemical reports, and effectively communicate results
5. Work with external prospects and customers to define, develop, and exceed specifications
6. Plan, organize, direct, and follow up on project-related testing activities
7. Ensure delivery of the project activities and interact with RnD
