Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Canary Wharf, London
Up to £70,000 per annum
Role Overview:
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of innovative building services solutions for their prestigious commercial projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design development and coordination of building services systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies, calculations, and simulations to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure smooth project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in the UK building services industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design software.
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and sustainability standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
