We partner with Arup to support contingent recruitment processes.

On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Receptionist/Front of house Assistant for an initial 6- Month contract based in Liverpool. It is an office-based role.

Job description - the role

Based in Liverpool we have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist/ Front of House - Assistant to provide robust support to the Liverpool office as part of the Workplace Facilities Management Team, focussed on clients, staff and visitor experience within our office environment and as part of a wider NW&Y team.

About the Opportunity:

  • Providing an excellent experience for our internal and external visitors to the office
  • Demonstrating sound knowledge of Arup's procedures and in-house systems
  • Understanding the link between all Business Services disciplines and being able to draw on these relationships to deliver high quality outputs both to internal and external clients.
  • Providing cover for facilities colleagues (post/couriers)
  • Booking taxis and dealing with invoicing
  • Supporting with client and social events
  • Assisting with ad hoc requests to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Have administrative support and front-of-house experience with excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience of online systems such as timesheets, meeting room booking
  • Have the ability to build strong relationships in a complex environment.
  • Can take ownership of local space and has a pride in the presentation of office with the ability to use own initiative.
