A leading manufacturer of advanced lithium-ion battery cells, is seeking an experienced Process Manager to oversee all aspects of the battery cell manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 8+ years managing complex battery cell production operations, with expertise spanning the full manufacturing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize the entire battery cell production process, including cell formation, assembly, testing, and packaging
  • Continuously analyze process performance data to identify opportunities for improvement in quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, R&D, and quality teams to implement process enhancements and troubleshoot issues
  • Develop and maintain robust standard operating procedures, process control plans, and quality systems to ensure consistent, high-quality output
  • Monitor key performance indicators and production metrics, and provide regular reports to leadership
  • Lead a team of process engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance management
  • Partner with equipment vendors and automation providers to integrate new technologies and optimize production workflows
  • Ensure strict compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Minimum 8 years of direct experience in battery cell or other advanced electrochemical manufacturing operations
  • Proven expertise in process design, optimization, and control for battery cell production
  • Hands-on experience with Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with experience interfacing with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Fluency in English required; knowledge of Greek language a plus
