Management Accountant - Hybrid working

Portsmouth based

Salary up to £40,000

Butler Rose Public Practice are pleased to announce a brand new Management Accountant position working for a well-known accountancy firm in Portsmouth.

Having come about through business growth, the role will work within the internal finance team, and will report to the Head of Finance. The role will involve overseeing and reviewing and preparing monthly management accounts for the business subsidiaries.

Duties:

• Reviewing monthly management accounts from more junior team members.
• Preparing management accounts for business subsidiaries.
• Preparing monthly management accounts for more complex subsidiaries.
• Authorising payments and cash flow monitoring.
• Supporting the more junior members of the team.

Requirements:

• AAT, ACCA/ACA qualified would be ideal. However part qualified and qualified by experience candidates will also be considered.
• Xero & Excel knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
• Experience preparing UK management accounts.
• This is an internal role so accountancy practice experience is now essential.
