Service Charge Accountant - Hybrid working

Southampton based

Salary up to £50,000

Butler Rose Public Practice are pleased to announce a brand new Service Charge Accountant position working for a well-known accountancy firm in Southampton.

Due to business success, our clients are looking for a new senior accountant to join their service charge team. This is an award winning team based within one of the UK's largest residential service charge accounting firms.

Duties:

• Undertaking the planning and execution of ISA800 audit assignments and Factual Findings Reports for our client's service charge accounts in accordance with best practice
• Reviewing the work performed by more junior members of the team, and dealing with complex queries and client questions
• Coaching and assisting the more junior team members in order to meet the client's needs
• Involvement with practice and workflow management for the wider team
• Aiding in the overall delivery of exceptional client service to our market leading clients.

Requirements:

• AAT, ACCA/ ACA qualified or part qualified will be considered.
• A solid background in accounting and / or double entry bookkeeping.
• Recent experience from working in a UK accountancy practice or a service charge team.
• be proficient in main line MS Office products, with in depth experience and knowledge of Excel
