Our client is currently building a Gigafactory in Teverola for the production of cells, modules, and battery packs for Electric Vehicle, Energy Storage, Industrial, and Special applications.

Located in beautiful Teverola, Italy

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process Optimization: Evaluate, analyze, and optimize cell assembly processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality cells, conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain product standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of cell assembly equipment, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to develop and implement new assembly processes and techniques.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of assembly processes, equipment configurations, and quality control measures. Prepare reports and present findings to the management team.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines in all cell assembly processes.
  • Problem-solving: Investigate and resolve production issues, defects, and non-conformities, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on cell assembly processes.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly techniques, equipment, and materials used in cell manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with quality management systems (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance related to manufacturing processes.
