We are very excited to announce the opening for a Corporate HR/Social Value Intern. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-driven and motivated student looking to learn more about the HR & Social Value strategies for an industry-leading global company.

The role is based at Enterprise Mobility European Head Office in Egham, Surrey.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the UK and Ireland Human Resources Director and the Talent Acquisition Director to implement HR strategy
  • Contribute to Talent Acquisition duties including careers fairs, phone screens, in addition to supporting our digital and social channels
  • Handle administration and queries for our UK Human Resources team
  • Organise, plan and attend national diversity team meetings and other human resources/ talent meetings
  • Support the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Department with wide ranging diversity award and benchmarking submissions
  • Assist with the development of Race Equality, LGBT+, Disability, Gender Equality and other diversity initiatives
  • Analysis on application and recruitment statistics
  • Project manage and provide administrative support for employee communications, including handbooks, policy documents and employee contracts
  • Plan and manage one-off student events as well as project managing long term initiatives
  • Support our marketing and candidate management talent acquisition department on ad hoc projects and tasks
  • Working with the Social Value team on DE&I and philanthropy projects
  • Help to plan events for with the Social Value team to enhance the offering of Enterprises Community Engagement.

 

Qualifications

  • You must be a current undergraduate university student looking to undertake a placement year as part of your course (any discipline) 
  • Confident with Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong time management ability
  • Persuasive and influential
  • Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail
  • Team player who can work well within a team as well as on own initiative
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • An interest in responsible investment, corporate responsibility and DE&I topics – engagement and curiosity in these areas is important
  • A positive and confident personality, happy to work with senior stakeholders
  • Is able to demonstrate a keen interest in philanthropy
  • A background or keen interest in events management

 

Additional Information

 

  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Loation:Egham, Surrey, TW20 9FB (Plenty of free on site parking and approx. 10 minutes walk from Egham station) 
  • Salary: £20,000 per annum
  • Duration: July 2024 for 12 Months
