Estimator / Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an innovative and forward thinking Estimator / Project Manager for our Halifax based client .

You will be someone with experience , who can explore new markets and business opportunities, as well as finding creative and effective ways of adding more value to the current range of products through technological innovation.

The primary function of the role is to make a significant contribution to the achievement of sales targets through the existing provision of excellent customer interactions and administrative support.

The main duties and responsibilities will include:

• 
  Prepare quotes and any other sales documentation as required to clients.
• 
  Reading architectural drawings and understand client specifications
• 
  Conduct industry research to keep in touch with new projects
• 
  Add quality data to the CRM system
• 
  Manage and maintain relationships
• 
  Seeks new relationships with key local contacts
• 
  Manage the design and quoting process
• 
  Project manage specified jobs from budgeting stage through to installation keeping track of key dates and project milestones ensuring projects stay on track.
• 
  Delivers Superior Customer Service
• 
  Maintain the reputation of quality, design excellence
• 
  Communicate queries and issues to the relevant internal team
• 
  Proactively resolves customer queries, acting as liaison between customer and relevant internal department, meeting customer needs in a courteous and timely manner.
• 
  Track, follow-up and resolve customer's outstanding issues in a timely manner.
• 
  Maintains up-to-date product knowledge; Customers receive accurate information, delivered with confidence.
• Attend industry seminars, trade shows and networking events as required, to stay informed and well known.
  
  
• Contracted working hours: 8am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday , 4pm finish on Friday
  
  Salary dependant on experience, expected to be somewhere in the region of £30 -40K
