Principal Consultant (ISA) - GCC

EWI are supporting a leading consultancy firm, who are currently seeking an experienced Independent Safety Assessor for a rail project in the GCC Region.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an Independent Safety Assessor (ISA)
  • Strong operational and maintenance (O&M) experience in rail projects
  • Willingness to relocate and be available at short notice

Responsibilities:
As an Independent Safety Assessor, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing major projects, including leading client communication.
  • Executing complex technical tasks related to safety assessment in rail projects.
  • Coordinating and leading interdisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
  • Developing technical standards, processes, and new services in the rail industry.
  • Supporting business development strategies and client acquisition efforts.
  • Mentoring and training junior staff members within your area of expertise.
  • Continuously enhancing your own professional competence and network.
  • Leading the preparation of techno-commercial quotations for prospective projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • Extensive experience in safety assessment for rail projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and client engagement.
