Position: Waste Water Treatment Plant Operative (Temp to Perm)

Location : Peterborough

Location: Immerdale, One Site

Resourcing Group is currently seeking a Waste Water Treatment Plant Operative for a temporary to permanent position with one of our leading facilities management clients. This role is based in Immerdale and offers an opportunity to contribute to maintaining compliance and operational efficiency in waste water treatment.

Main Duties:

• Completion of routine monitoring tasks aligned with HSG274 pt2 and ACOP L8.
• Conducting temperature monitoring.
• Performing outlet/showerhead descales.
• Inspecting Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWST).
• Sampling for Legionella and microbiological testing.
• Analyzing closed systems from heating & chilled water systems.
• Possession of a clean driving license is essential.

Requirements:

• Experience as a waste water treatment operator is a must.
• Ideal candidates will have previous experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring, or Water Treatment.
• Knowledge and experience in maintaining water systems are desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain customers' water log books and complete necessary documentation as per current guidelines and company policy.
• Conduct a variety of water samples and document them in line with company procedures.
• Perform water system cleaning and disinfection in accordance with ACOP L8 and company procedures.
• Responsible for testing, servicing, and maintaining thermostatic mixing valves.
• Undertake basic plumbing works when required.
