Position Available: Building Safety & Compliance Manager

Role Description:

Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and stakeholders? Harrow Council is seeking a dedicated Building Safety & Compliance Manager to join our team. As the main point of contact for housing and building safety, you will provide invaluable technical advice and expertise to the Council.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary advisor on general safety and fire safety, offering clear guidance and training to all stakeholders.
Ensure best practices are followed in the procurement of repairs contracts for statutory compliance areas in our social housing stock.
Manage the resources of the Health and Safety Team to minimize risk and uphold the health, safety, and well-being of all individuals affected by our operations.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of building safety regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent communication skills to effectively advise and train stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage resources and reduce risk effectively.
