Job Description

Title: Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

We are seeking motivated and experienced Warehouse operatives to join our client's team in Slough.
This role is available ASAP. This is a full-time opportunity.

£28k- £30k salary

Permanent role.

Interviews available ASAP.

Counter balance and Reach truck valid forklift license required.

Key Points

• Able to work on either of the below shift patterns (depends on business needs)
• 3 Shift Pattern:
• 06:00am to 14:30pm
• 13:30pm to 22:00pm
• 21:30pm to 06:00am ( Night shift will go live around September)
• Working 42,5hrs per week, paid for 40hrs per week
• Ability to work overtime on Saturday / Sunday, if required.
• Adhere to our core values.

• Complete company provided quality training.
• Compete the ERP systems training

Position Responsibilities

• Follow all Health & Safety procedures
• Report any Health & Safety issues to line manger
• Collect bulk material from the machines and locate it in the pins
• Conduct weekly stock checks of bulk material
• Move material for quality technicians and supervisors as required
• To sort waste into the correct waste stream
• Advise the warehouse and logistics manager when collections are required for general waste, compactor, plastic, and other waste streams.
• Keep the yard and line side clean and tidy
• Load waste material onto collection vehicles
• Complete all necessary paperwork for collections, delivery, and Goods In.
• Check and pack all finished goods to required standard.
• Load finished goods as per collection schedule.
• Goods-In loading, booking and put away.
• Keep all equipment clean, tidy and report any issues.
• Any reasonable requests from your line manager

Essential Skills and Characteristics

• Flexible individual
• Good communication skills - both written and spoken English
• Forklift counterbalance, reach licenses - bendi license advantageous
• Required to lift up to 20 Kgs
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Ability to multitask
• Basic computer knowledge
• Be able to read, understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures
