Job Description


Social Worker required for work within the Children in Care Team in the West Cornwall area. Based in Camborne. 37 hrs a week. 3 month initial contact with possibility of extension. Competitive rates up to £34ph. Accommodation and travel allowance is considered for this role. Hybrid working between office and home.

The successful candidate should have experience of undertaking statutory reviews and visits, supporting placements, contacts - working with parents and carers, court work with children and their families to assess and manage risk and achieving good outcomes for the children we are working with.
Your duties will include, pathway plans, visiting children in care and care leavers, supporting young people, handling extremely complex cases with the assistance of the management team. Priority is given to maintaining close positive links with outside agencies and service providers within the community.
It is essential that candidates have good communication and strong report writing skills.

You will be SWE registered as a Qualified Social Worker, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
