Job Description
Team Manager required for work within the MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub) Team in the South West area. Based in Cornwall exceptional rates up to £42ph and long term contracts offered in the Truro.
Team Manager is required to join a Children's team within the MASH Team based in the Plymouth region. Candidates must be experienced, confident and have professional credibility within the Assessment setting at a management level within Social Care.
Duties:
* To hold a key role in establishing, developing and embedding the MASH as the single point of contact for enquiries relating to safeguarding of vulnerable children and adults within Plymouth city Council
* To ensure a prompt and efficient response to all contacts and referrals
* To ensure that the needs of service users are identified and to be responsible for ensuring that operational decisions about contacts, referrals and child in need assessments are made in a timely and effective manner
* To ensure that agreed information governance procedures are adhered to and to robustly defend the need to maintain such protocols
* To ensure the effective allocation of work within the team, ensuring that stated protocols for responding and processing enquiries is adhered to
* work effectively with internal and external partners to process and research enquiries within designated timescales to identify risk and make timely decisions about next steps
* To develop a consensus view to decision making on individual cases amongst the MASH professionals and to have ultimate responsibility for decision making on individual cases
You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
