Job Description
Butler Rose is pleased to be supporting a not-for-profit organisation based in Milton Keynes as they look to recruit a Finance Officer on a part time basis. This is a remote role but are only considering candidates close to Milton Keynes in the event of occasional internal meetings.
Overview:
Part Time role - 30 hours (across 5 days)
Finance Officer
Milton Keynes
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger are up to date and fully reconciled
- Processing rent receipts
- Preparing payment runs
- Produce and review Management Accounts
- Liaise with external auditors
- Produce and review the organisation's annual accounts for production and audit
- Produce, in line with external deadlines, other statutory returns and grant claims.
Ideally Looking For:
- Part Qualified (ACCA / CIMA) or QBE
- Understanding and knowledge of accounting processes including budgeting and reconciliations
- Ability to work alone on a remote basis as well as part of a team when required
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written
- Able to carry out and manage own workload to meet deadlines
- Strong IT Skills, including MS Excel.
