Butler Rose is pleased to be supporting a not-for-profit organisation based in Milton Keynes as they look to recruit a Finance Officer on a part time basis. This is a remote role but are only considering candidates close to Milton Keynes in the event of occasional internal meetings.

Overview:

Part Time role - 30 hours (across 5 days)

Finance Officer

Milton Keynes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger are up to date and fully reconciled
  • Processing rent receipts
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Produce and review Management Accounts
  • Liaise with external auditors
  • Produce and review the organisation's annual accounts for production and audit
  • Produce, in line with external deadlines, other statutory returns and grant claims.

Ideally Looking For:

  • Part Qualified (ACCA / CIMA) or QBE
  • Understanding and knowledge of accounting processes including budgeting and reconciliations
  • Ability to work alone on a remote basis as well as part of a team when required
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • Able to carry out and manage own workload to meet deadlines
  • Strong IT Skills, including MS Excel.
