Labourer

Job Description

As a Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects. Your primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

1. Assisting skilled tradespeople and contractors on various construction sites.
2. Carrying out general manual labour tasks, such as lifting, moving, and organising construction materials.
3. Operating and maintaining construction equipment and tools under supervision.
4. Maintaining a clean and safe work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Assisting in the preparation of building sites, including excavation and foundation works.
6. Contributing to the completion of tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
7. Being adaptable to changing project demands and requirements.
8. Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

1. Previous experience in a similar labouring role within the construction industry is advantageous but not essential.
2. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
3. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
4. Strong work ethic and reliability, demonstrating punctuality and dedication.
5. Basic understanding of construction practices and the ability to follow instructions.
6. Health and safety awareness, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
7. A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
