Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

Join this clients Platform team as a Senior DevOps Engineer led by one of the best hands on engineers you'll work ever work with! Your focus will involve Cloud Infrastructure, Automation, and enhancing their technology stack through innovative insights as they work on a project close to my heart!!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance their Architecture
  • Develop cloud service controls for security and privacy at scale, ensuring best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
  • Take ownership of deliverables, maintaining high standards and adherence to best practices.
  • Design, implement, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
  • Write automation code for infrastructure deployment and operational process optimization using Python, Bash, Terraform, and other relevant languages.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues for seamless system operation.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident response, ensuring system availability.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in international/multi-site environments.
  • Experience in regulated industries or a DevSecOps culture is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with greenfield projectsEmphasis on software re-usability and maintainability..
  • Extensive experience in building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters at scale.
  • Strong background in cloud computing, particularly AWS services and best practices.
  • Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Helm Charts, and overseeing distributed systems (Microservices, Kafka architecture).
