Job Title: Mental Health Social Worker

Salary: £33 per hour

Are you a committed Mental Health Social Worker eager to make a positive impact within the Wolverhampton community? Wolverhampton City Council is seeking a passionate individual to join our dynamic team in providing essential mental health support services to residents.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and interventions to individuals, families, and groups within the Wolverhampton area.
Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies, and community resources to ensure holistic support and continuity of care.
Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals experiencing mental health challenges, empowering them to access appropriate services and resources.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
Proven experience working within a mental health setting, preferably within a local authority or similar environment.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to mental health care and safeguarding.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective therapeutic relationships.
Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage a diverse caseload independently.
Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to professional codes of conduct.
