Prototype Development Engineer (Advanced Cell Technology)

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluate cell performance and optimize designs for enhanced characteristics.
• Oversee fabrication, testing, and improvement of lithium-ion cell prototypes.
• Maintain detailed records of design iterations, test results, and performance data.
• Conduct data analysis and plotting.
• Prepare reports and technical documentation to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
• Implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure consistency and reliability in cell manufacturing.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor/Master's degree in: Electrical Engineering/ Materials Science/ Chemical Engineering with relevant coursework or specialization in battery technology/materials science/quality control methods would be beneficial.
• Hands-on experience in designing or fabricating, and testing lithium-ion cell prototypes, along with familiarity with testing equipment and procedures.
• Proficiency in preparing technical reports, documentation, and presentations to effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to cross-functional teams and management.
• Understanding of quality control processes and methodologies, with the ability to implement and maintain quality assurance measures in manufacturing environments.
• Good skills in data analysis, including statistical analysis and the use of tools like Excel (MATLAB, Python could be beneficial) or other data analysis software to interpret test results and drive design improvements.
