Project Designer - Solar Developer - Milan

EWI are proud to be partnered with an Italian based Renewable Energy developer strengthening their operations in Italy. With a primary focus in photovoltaic developments in Italy .

Founded in 2012, The business has ambitious plans to accelerate there growth and now seeking Project Design Engineer (Electrical).

Your Role:

As a Project Designer, you will play a crucial role in our Development department, contributing to the design and optimization of renewable energy projects, particularly in batteries and solar.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process for multiple renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with Italian regulations.
• Utilize AutoCAD, PvSyst, and other relevant software for project layout execution.
• Optimize plant sizing based on land characteristics and demographics.
• Contribute to projects from initial development stages to completion.
• Independently lead and make decisions while sharing knowledge with team members.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in designing PV and BESS projects.
• Familiarity with Italian regulations pertaining to BESS and PV.
• Background working with DSOs (Distribution System Operators) beneficial.
• 4-day week/Hybrid.

Location: Milan

Salary: €45,000 to €55,000 per annum.
